How Pirates' 11 signings have fit in, or not

With the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season currently suspended, KickOff.com assesses how Orlando Pirates’ 11 new signings have fared thus far.

Pirates roped in no less than 11 new players at the start of the season, ranging from a new goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders and three strikers.

These also include two players from their youth structures in Thabiso Monyane and Zakhele Lepasa, who were promoted under Milutin Sredojevic.

With over two-thirds of the campaign now complete, some have made a sizeable contribution while others have failed to find their feet.

Considering the Buccaneers have had three different coaches at the helm this season, it is no surprise then that some have fallen out of favour, or even being sent out on loan.

Some may have lacked sufficient game-time, while some have failed to utilise their opportunities, but the club will be carefully pondering the success of their business.
