Pirates star arrested in Midrand

One of Orlando Pirates' biggest stars has been arrested on charges of domestic violence, police have confirmed.

Details of the player's arrest are still sketchy but it is understood he was arrested at the Midrand Police Station this morning.

The 27-year-old is due to appear in court today on charges related to domestic violence.

Gauteng police spokesperson Kay Makhubela has confirmed the arrest of a PSL player but could not provide his name until he appears in court.

"Yes, it's true. A 27-year-old man alleged to be a soccer player was arrested in the early hours of this morning on charges related to domestic violence," Makhubela tells KickOff.com.
