Individually, the two teams boast the most valuable squads in the league and they form an even more formidable side when using their respective stars' market values, as provided by Transfermarkt, to form a combined XI.

The Buccaneers' R14.4 million-rated goalkeeper Richard Ofori features between the sticks ahead of Masandawana's Denis Onyango, behind a back-four that is evenly split between the two teams.

Sundowns' Thapelo Morena features at right-back alongside teammate Mosa Lebusa, while Pirates' Innocent Maela stars on the left next to former Bafana Bafana captain Thulani Hlatshwayo.

Andile Jali takes his place alongside Fortune Makaringe, who occupies a deeper-than-normal role for purposes of this selection, while Themba Zwane and Vincent Pule add star power on the left and right flanks, respectively.

Deon Hotto also features in an unfamiliar attacking midfield role behind the PSL's most valuable player, Peter Shalulile, whose value has sky-rocketed to R27 million in the latest valuations.
