Co-coach Fadlu Davids has hinted at key areas to strengthen the Orlando Pirates squad during the upcoming January transfer window.
The Buccaneers have undergone an inconsistent start to the current campaign and occupy second position in the DStv Premiership standings behind Mamelodi Sundowns.
Pirates' form guide has seen Davids' side suffer a solitary defeat with three wins and a draw in their last five league encounters.
Heading into what could be a potentially crucial January transfer window Davids identified areas to strengthen.

"There are some areas and internally there are discussions happening," Davids revealed.
"In terms of those areas that we need to strengthen, it showed now with Richard Ofori being out for long.
"Our front area also in terms of attacking players, like number 10's with Vincent Pule and Thembinkosi Lorch out.
"There are areas that we have identified but I don't want to be quoting positions but on the whole, there are departments that need quality in depth.
"To be able to sustain us where we know it will soon be required to travelling for CAF, there's group stages and every three days a match.
"You know you don't want to rotate and want to play the strongest team but there will be moments where another player comes in.
"It's important then for us not to lose the structure, with a big dip in terms of a replacement.
"We're always striving to be better and stronger and that is what we'll do."
