Morrison, who joined the Soweto giants from AS Vita, has made appearances this season, just two less than the 10 he managed in all competitions last season.
Despite not playing as regularly as he'd like, Morrison feels he's made positive progress in his game.
"Yes, I’ve seen a huge difference in the way I play. There’s a big difference in how the game is played here in South Africa and how it’s played in Ghana, Qatar Dubai and Congo, where I was before,” he said in the latest edition of KICK OFF Magazine.
“Now I know how the game goes and I’ve adapted to it. I think Micho [Milutin Sredojevic] and Muhsin [Ertugral] are the only people who know how I play – Muhsin eventually learnt that I’m a striker, not a winger. Since the day Micho arrived here he’s played me as a striker and not a winger, and Rulani [Mokoena] also knows me now.
“But, as a player, I also understand that you must adapt to any position, and sometimes it’s difficult to grasp the new responsibilities.
“As a striker playing on the wing, it’s easy to forget that you need to stay wide and cross the ball instead of trying to go and score, that’s why sometimes I try to go towards goal when I’ve played on the wing and it didn’t work for me.”
