Orlando Pirates have joined the race to sign rising star defender Nkosinathi Sibisi for next season.
Sibisi is on the wanted-list of Mamelodi Sundowns, who are keen to lure him to Chloorkop for next season following his impressive performances for Golden Arrows.
However, it has since been gathered that Pirates have also made enquiries about the availability of the 25-year-old and there is now a real possibility Sibisi could go to the highest bidder.
"Sundowns don't have a problem to pay but there is also a good working relationship between Golden Arrows and Orlando Pirates," a close source tells KickOff.com.
"Pirates could add Gladwin Shitolo and Mthokozisi Dube as part of a swap deal."
Pirates and Sundowns were last engaged in transfer battles for both Thulani Hlatshwayo and Deon Hotto, both of whom chose the Buccaneers.
