KickOff.com can confirm that Orlando Pirates have made a decision on trialist Ivorian defender Kouassi Kouadja.
The former Cape Town City defender spent a few months training with Pirates with the view to landing a contract in Gauteng.
However, Kouadja has been allowed to leave the Mighty Buccaneers' training base without signing a contract.
Pirates administrative official Floyd Mbele has confirmed that Kouadja will not be signed.
"He is no longer with us and has been allowed to leave," Mbele tells KickOff.com without elaborating on the reasons.
Kouadja was earlier reported to have made a great impression at training.
Nevertheless, despite failing to sign a defender during the past transfer window, Bucs seem to have fixed their leaky defence since the arrival of German coach Josef Zinnbauer .
Pirates remain with three recognised centre-backs including captain Happy Jele, Alfred Ndengane and Ntsikelelo Nyauza.
