Orlando Pirates could miss up to six players when they face Swallows FC in the original Soweto Derby at Orlando Stadium this weekend.
Coming off their first defeat of the season to reigning champions and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns, Pirates have a second successive test against second-placed Swallows on Sunday afternoon.
As earlier confirmed, winger Vincent Pule will sit out through suspension when they take on the joint-log leaders in the DStv Premiership.
Furthermore, coach Josef Zinnbauer has revealed that Zakhele Lepasa, Tshegofatso Mabasa and Abel Mabaso will also definitely not feature, while Kabelo Dlamini and Richard Ofori face late assessments.
"Injuries – Lepasa and Mabasa, and Mabaso, are all completely out. Dlamini and Ofori we have to see what's happened [in their progress]," Zinnbauer revealed in a club interview.
"It's difficult, I think it's not enough time for this game. But other players are ready and we're finding the best players for the three points.
"We know Pule is one of the best players in the league, not just in our team. The last time he was in the national team and we know he is a big player.
"We won't change our system and but we will miss him, [because] he's a very good player for us. But we cannot change things, he has the yellow-card [suspension].
"We have other players behind who have a chance now. I hope the player who gets the chance uses it and we get success."
