Orlando Pirates have confirmed the addition of six new players to their roster ahead of the 2019/20 season.
As earlier reported on KickOff.com, Pirates have welcomed Maritzburg United duo Siphesihle Ndlovu and Fortune Makaringe, Bloemfontein Celtic trio Kabelo Dlamini, Bongani Sam and Tshegofatso Mabasa and Chippa United full-back Tebogo Tlolane.
The club have solidly bolstered their squad, while also cleaning up ship in releasing several players in recent weeks.
Ndlovu and Makaringe arrive amid plenty of speculation linking them to Mamelodi Sundowns and Kaizer Chiefs respectively, but Bucs have long since beaten them to the duo's signatures.
The club also ratified that Sam, Dlamini and Mabasa were undergoing medicals last week, saying in a statement: "All players underwent medicals last week with the rest of the squad to establish their readiness for the pre-season schedule that the technical team has prepared."
The new faces, including new French goalkeeper Joris Delle, commence their duties with The Buccaneers this afternoon as they begin preparations for the new campaign kicking off on August 2-4.
Some of these could make their unofficial debut in the Carling Black Label Cup on July 27, should they get voted in by supporters.
