Orlando Pirates goalkeeper coach Andrew Sparkes has confirmed his departure from the club.
Sparkes is set to vacate his role within the club's technical team after just one season in Soweto, having come in from Championship Swansea just under a year ago.
The 34-year-old has since posted a farewell message on his social media account, thanking the club and its supporters for his time in service.
"My time at Orlando Pirates has come to an end. I would like to thank the management, technical team, Goalkeepers, players and fans for [the] opportunity to work and represent one of Africa’s biggest clubs," he said.
"I wish the club all the success in the future #upthebucs #oncealways "
Reasons for Sparkes' departure is as yet known, and when contacted for clarity, The Buccaneers' administration manager was unaware of the goalkeeper coach's movement.
