Kaizer Chiefs are set for another Soweto Derby and rising star Nkosingiphile Ngcobo believes this is an opportunity for them to turn the corner.
Chiefs will face DStv Premiership rookies Swallows FC at Dobsonville Stadium on Tuesday evening as they go in search of just their second win of the season.
The match was initially scheduled for Sunday but, with Amakhosi set to travel to Cameroon for their CAF Champions League opener this weekend, it has been rescheduled to this evening.
The reformed Dube Birds are currently second on the log and have yet to taste defeat since winning promotion to the top-flight, and Ngcobo feels a victory will certainly help with his side's ailing confidence at present.
"For us it is important to get three points so that we gain confidence and belief moving forward. We are up against a strong team that has not lost this season. We have to go there and fight for a win," the 21-year-old midfielder told Chiefs' website.
"We expect them to come out and attack. We know they are also strong at the back. They have conceded one goal this season and if we apply ourselves well, we will be able to get the win. I am confident of that.
"These kind of games against strong teams challenge us and we enjoy playing them. It will be good for us because we have not lost in our last three games and they have not lost all season.
"We need to keep it tight at the back and not concede. We have to take our chances and win the game."
