Kavazovic parts ways with FS Stars

Free State Stars have parted ways with coach Nikola Kavazovic following the club's relegation to the National First Division.

The Serbian arrived at the Betlehem side in December 2018, replacing Belgian tactician Luc Eymael following a string of poor results.

Stars general manager Rantsi Mokoena confirms that the former Township Rollers coach will not be part of the team next season.

"No, he won't be there," Mokeona tells KickOff.com, confirming Kavazovic's exit.

According to Kavazovic's agent Ivan Stankovic, his client has already attracted interest from another PSL team, as well as abroad.

"Everything that has been done has been done in accordance with the contractual agreement that has been signed," Stankovic adds.

"I mean the club will be playing in the second division, the coach ended his contract. They are looking for another coach. I mean it was in his contract that he will stay as a coach in the premier league, and when they get relegated he would leave the club, and it has been done in accordance with the contract... they are moving on and we are moving on.

"We've had some talks already. We spoke with one club in the PSL and we are currently speaking with other people outside of South Africa."
