No PSL move for Vincent Enyeama

Having previously opened the door for a move to Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates, former Nigeria goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama has now decided to hang up his gloves instead.

The 37-year-old last played a competitive match in 2018, during his time with Ligue 1 side LOSC Lille, but recently admitted that he could be tempted to return to the pitch in Soweto if the opportunity arose.

"Yeah, why not? Johannesburg is a good place to be [and] If there's an opportunity to play at Chiefs or Pirates, why not?" the 37-year-old told African Football HQ in April.

"Football is my life, football is my blood and if there is an opportunity to play and the terms and details are okay and my family and wife are okay with it, then we move."

The door has now closed on Enyeama's potential move to the PSL, however, after lower-league French side Iris Club de Croix announced that the former Super Eagles star had taken up a coaching role with the club.
