Tom tells KickOff.com that he had signed a straight one-year deal when he joined Aces at the beginning of last season and with the club silent on his future, he understands what that means.
“I had a straight one-year deal with Aces with no option whatsoever and it expires at the end of the season,” Tom says. “Up to now I still haven’t heard anything from the club about any possible contract renewal and I think I know what that means.
"I will know which club I will be joining next once I have met my representatives (ProSport International) next week,” he adds.
The 33-year-old was mostly used as back-up to Lehlohonolo Nonyane this past season.
Aces are already on the hunt for another left-back with Bloemfontein Celtic’s Keegan Ritchie along with two youngsters from the club’s development and another from the lower divisions having already been identified.
