Bafana Bafana international Darren Keet features in goal after joining Cape Town City at the start of the window. The 32-year-old, who has since been sidelined for up to six months with a thigh tear, joined the Citizens on a free transfer after parting ways with Cape United at the end of last season.
Keet is ably supported by a back four that includes two new Kaizer Chiefs signings in the form of Sibusiso Mabiliso and Njabulo Ngcobo, while Buhle Mkhwanazi and Grant Kekana also feature following their respective transfers to SuperSport United and Mamelodi Sundowns.
In midfield, new Orlando Pirates midfielder Goodman Mosele, who arrived from Baroka FC, stars alongside Chiefs ace Cole Alexander, with the duo flanked by the Buccaneers' Bandile Shandu on the right and the Amakhosi's Keagan Dolly on the left.
A two-man attack completes the lineup and takes shape with the inclusion of Mwape Musonda, who returned to South Africa from Saudi Arabia to join Swallows FC, and Thabiso Kutumela, who signed for reigning champions Sundowns from Maritzburg United
