Ngele started on Tuesday night and took his chance with two goals, the first of which was a brilliant, swerving strike from 30 yards and the second a neat finish on the volley.
“First of all I’d like to thank God and my family for being there for me each and every time, even if I don’t play,” he said on SuperSport TV.
“I think we played well today as a team, we tried to play short passes so that they can come to us and we tried by all means to sit back so that they could not catch us on counter-attacks.
“It was not easy, but as I’ve said it’s all about the team. We made good runs off the ball and on the ball so I think that was good for us.”
Asked whether he think he could win Absa Premiership Goal of the Month for his strike, he remained humble.
“No I’m not looking at that, as long as the team wins I”m happy for them,” he concluded.
