AmaZulu FC and Moeneeb Josephs have finally reached an agreement on the way forward.

Josephs, whose playing contract has expired, was offered a two-month caretaker coach deal to remain with the club until the completion of the 2019/20 season.

However, the former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper left the Usuthu camp while he mulled over his future, casting doubt over his intentions.

But it has now been confirmed that Josephs has put pen to paper on a short-term contract extension.

"Moeneeb Josephs returned to the camp on Friday and his contract has been extended," club official Brilliant Mkhathini tells KickOff.com.

Mkhathini also states that Lehlohonolo Majoro is still part of the club's plans after numerous talks regarding his future.

Majoro was part of the group of senior players who were suspended a few months ago, some of whom such as Nhlanhla Vilakazi and Michael Morton have now been released.

"Majoro returned to the club from day one of training, he's back with the club," Mkhathini adds. "There were no issues about him returning."
