Micho draws Pirates positives

The teams, which drew 0-0 at Harry Gwala Stadium, share the Premiership summit on eight points from four games with Golden Arrows, who hammered KwaZulu-Natal rivals AmaZulu 4-1 at Princess Magogo Stadium on Sunday.

'Micho' hopes his side can build on their efforts against United when Cape Town City visit Bucs at FNB Stadium on Tuesday night.

The Citizens, under the tutelage of Benni McCarthy, are smarting following their first loss of the season in six games in all competitions against Kaizer Chiefs last week.

Sredojevic told his club's website: “Look, this wasn’t an easy match by any means. It’s no surprise United are where they are on the log table.

“Although I am happy with our general performance I still believe there are some areas we need to improve on.

“Obviously with our next match coming up so soon there’s little you can do except try and regenerate and hope that the players are fresh for yet another challenge against City.”
