The Serbian felt his men took their foot off the pedal in the 1-1 draw with Polokwane City on the weekend, having opened 2018 with 3-1 wins over Baroka and log leaders Mamelodi Sundowns.

"We shall do everything from all possible aspects with tactical awareness, with mental strength, with physical fitness and technical effectiveness to do everything to keep consistency," said Sredojevic.

"If we had converted some of the chances in the first half, maybe we would not come in minus regarding the results and position.

"However, there is no if, we got what we got. We pick up the pieces, we are in a process we need to critically look at and have a standard.

"First two matches are the standard that we need to keep following in that same fashion and provided that in the run of matches, we have consistency in performances in the way we had in the first two matches."

The sixth-placed Sea Robbers, who trail Sundowns by seven points after 18 matches, next visit relegation-threatened Platinum Stars at Royal Bafokeng Stadium on Saturday (15h30).
