Former Bafana Bafana international Benson Mhlongo believes defending champions Mamelodi Sundowns' new acquisitions have so far outperformed their Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates counterparts.
Mhlongo insists the players signed by both Chiefs and Pirates at the beginning of the season still have lots to prove.
"The new signings at Chiefs are starting to impress by giving the team results," Mhlongo tells KickOff.
"At Pirates, I'm impressed with the Kwame Peprah and the centre-back Ndah.
"At Sundowns it's a tricky one because when Sundowns sign a player they give him time to understand the system and the lifestyle.

"Then gradually they play him, it's not about him making an impact but it's about him fitting the puzzle. So it's a different ball game altogether when it comes to Sundowns.
"I can't say Pirates and Chiefs' signings have done well because they are struggling to challenge Sundowns.
"So we can't say they've made good signings, if they made good signings they should be fighting with Sundowns at the top of the standings.
"But as you can see Sundowns are overpowering them, so I can't say they have made good signings, we have to see in the second round."
