Cape Town City defender Terrence Mashego has broken his silence on his future at the club with building interest in his services.

Mashego's impressive displays have sparked the interest of several Gauteng teams with Mamelodi Sundowns also listed as a possible destination.

The former TS Galaxy defender's form has also seen him rewarded with a call-up to the Bafana Bafana squad.

“At the moment and especially being in the middle of the season, It would not make sense to entertain any news of a move to another club," Mashego tells KickOff.

”I am happy at Cape Town City, I am playing regularly and we are challenging for trophies.

“I am here at home enjoying the holidays with family.

”I also get time to go watch the festive tournaments in ikasi when I am invited."
