Club legend and record goalscorer Marks "Go Man Go" Maponyane has called for Kaizer Chiefs to show consistency after consecutive victories.
Amakhosi occupy 6th position in the Dstv Premiership standings with 18 points from 11 matches played.
Sunday's crucial 1-0 away win over bogey team Maritzburg United makes it five wins for new head coach Stuart Baxter in his second spell.
"It's important to be consistent to know your progress," Maponyane tells Kickoff.com.
"But a win and a loss and a win and a loss won't give any confidence to any supporters.

"But to people who are neutral, especially people like me who played at different teams, you look at the progress or consistency or lack of it.
"They need to be consistent if they want to stage a title challenge.
"A lot is expected and they still command a bigger following. I mean other teams haven't won a trophy in their lifetime, but it's always noted that Chiefs and Pirates haven't won a trophy in a number of years continuously.
This shows they still mean something in people's lives.
"But then they need to be consistent to achieve that. I don't say they shouldn't lose, if you can go four unbeaten at least you are gaining some ground.
"But one step forward and then two steps back doesn't work. But let's wait for the AmaZulu game at home, that will be very interesting."
