Maritzburg United chairman Farook Kadodia has opened up on the situation of star defender Rushine De Reuck, who continues to be linked with the top PSL clubs.
With goalkeeper Richard Ofori now confirmed as an Orlando Pirates player, De Reuck is seen as the most-prized asset still under contract in Pietermaritzburg.

There has been an outcry for the Team of Choice centre-back to be called into the struggling Bafana Bafana squad, and Kadodia believes the 24-year-old has done everything to be in the national team.
The chairman believes the criteria used to select players for international duty is unfair to players like De Reuck despite their standout performances.
"Look, it's very disappointing, over the years unfortunately the policy that was adopted as far as bringing players [to the national team] I think was very unfair to many players," Kadodia tells KickOff.com.
"Whether that is a reason why Bafana Bafana is struggling, I can't comment on that. The most important thing is that my player Rushine De Reuck was overwhelmingly voted to be a player in the national team.
"I feel sorry for the boy, he must be disappointed being top for the last two years, and I believe he fully deserves a national team call-up."
Kadodia is hoping De Reuck will at least win the Absa Premiership Defender of the Season prize at the PSL Awards on Thursday.
"I fully think he deserves the Defender of the Season award, undoubtedly, and Richard Ofori deserves his too as Goalkeeper of the Season," he adds.
"I think they deserve to be rewarded for their performances last season."
