Wonderboy targeted by PSL teams


One of the NFD's star players Wonderboy Makhubu is being chased by two PSL clubs, according to sources.

The PSL might be on a break due to the coronavirus pandemic but teams are still working behind the scenes to boost their squads.

KickOff.com has been reliably told that Absa Premiership sides Maritzburg United and Cape Town City are targeting the Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila midfielder as his contract with the Limpopo side is coming to an end in June.

A source close to player reveals that Maritzburg United have shown the most interest in the 23-year-old and have been monitoring him since last year's PSL promotion/relegation playoffs.

"Maritzburg United have shown more interest in the player and have been joined by Cape Town City," says the source.

"His contract is coming to an end this coming June and they have already engaged with both teams."

With TTM struggling with finances, it appears they may lose several players for the coming season.
