Maritzburg have agreed to pay an undisclosed transfer fee and only the player’s personal terms are pending before the deal is completed.

Farouk Kadodia, the Maritzburg chairman, confirms that they have reached an agreement with Hwange – a coal-mining club.

“The club-to-club negotiations have now been completed and we have reached an agreement,” Kadodia tells KickOff.com.

“We are now awaiting the completion of negotiations for the player’s personal terms and once that is done then the deal is complete,” he says.

Rusike has been training with Maritzburg for the past three weeks and made a huge impression as the Team of Choice seeks to widen their attacking options for the new season.

The 23-year-old, who was spotted at the recent Cosafa Cup tournament, will sign a three-year deal with Maritzburg.
