Tinkler praised Masandawana after they beat his side 2-1 at Harry Gala Stadium on Tuesday night, and feels as a struggling team they can't be expected to get an easy three points against a club like Sundowns.
"We went to this game knowing it won't be easy to beat them, they have top quality, this team should be winning the league title like Juventus, they possess top players from the field, bench to the strands, you have to give them respect," he said.
Tinkler was asked if he still believes the Team of Choice can survive with six games remaining in the campaign, and the former Cape Town City coach insisted they will fight until the end.
"There will always be hope as long as I'm still here, we need to win games and the fact that teams arounds us have tough fixtures coming up, it gives us hope," he added.
Tinkler also hopes the team will fight like they did two seasons back when they managed to avoid relegation in a similar position.
"We hope to fight like we did when we were in a similar position, we will fight till the end even if we get to a playoff position we won't mind now as long as we save this club."
