KickOff.com has information about who Mamelodi Sundowns' next transfer target is for the 2020/21 season after three new signings were confirmed.
Sundowns have already signed George Maluleka, Grant Margeman and Jody February for next season.
Those moves have not been announced by Sundowns yet but have been respectively confirmed by Kaizer Chiefs, Margeman himself and Ajax Cape Town.
Pitso Mosimane trolled the media recently by declaring three new signings already, and has also strongly hinted about Margeman, who has been linked with Sundowns since his initial breakthrough at Ajax.
"We love Grant," he said wryly at a recent post-match presser when asked if Margeman was one of his three signings.
"But Sundowns will kill me if I reveal things," he added. "I must wait for Sundowns to reveal and the jerseys. I don't want to spoil that event."
This website now understands that Sundowns could also turn to Maritzburg United midfielder Daylon Claasen as one of their major new signings for next season.
According to a source close to the Brazilians, the club is considering making an offer to Maritzburg for the services of the former Bidvest Wits playmaker at the end of the season.
"The club is looking for a player with almost the same qualities and who plays in the same role as Themba Zwane and Gaston Sirino for next season," the source tells KickOff.com.
"Daylon Claasen fits in very well for the profile. Sundowns is expected to make an official offer at the end of the season."
Claasen has been in fine form for the Team of Choice this season and has already bagged a few man-of-the-match awards.
