Mamelodi Sundowns star Themba Zwane says he's inspired by Surprise Moriri to continue winning silverware and achieve legendary status at the club.
Zwane, 31, reached a new level of performances in the 2019/20 season as he played an instrumental role in their domestic treble success with 26 goal contributions in 41 games across all competitions.
His displays under former head coach Pitso Mosimane earned him recognition for nominees as the Midfielder of the Season and Footballer of the Season at the 2019 PSL awards scheduled for this evening.
And ahead of the prestigious event, Zwane reflected on the memorable campaign and paid homage to his teammates and the historic figures of the club's illustrious history for his incredible performances.

"It was a great season, working with these talented guys at the club, as they pushed me to play my best and everyone on the team was working hard," the Bafana Bafana star said.
"We as a team are in a great environment, we want to push and win trophies, as that is what our club is about. I want to continue to fight for the team, I want to achieve more.
"Some players, such as Surprise Moriri, have played for the club before me, and players like him inspire me. They are legends of the team and I too, one day want to be a legendary Sundowns player."
Zwane has won 11 major titles including five league winners medals and the CAF Champions League since joining Masandawana from Vardos in 2011.
