Mamelodi Sundowns have revealed their plans for pre-season, with just a few weeks left before the start of the 2019/20 PSL campaign.
Sundowns are in Mpumalanga preparing for the new season and they’ve lined up a practice match against National First Division side TS Galaxy.
The reigning Absa Premiership champions will then travel to Botswana and DR Congo to start preparing for another season of CAF Champions League football.
Sundowns will confirm details of the two matches they will play in Botswana, while they’ve secured matches in Lubumbashi DR Congo side CS Don Bosco as well as giants TP Mazembe, a side they’ve met on a few occasions in continental club football. Don Bosco is a feeder team for Mazembe.
Sundowns start the new season against Tshwane rivals SuperSport United on August and they’ll also be involved in MTN8 action in early August.
Sundowns have new South American striker Mauricio Affonso in camp with them, while former Cape Town City forward Tokelo Rantie could be signed.
