KickOff.com has learnt that Mamelodi Sundowns have made strides in their pursuit of South Africa junior international midfielder Sipho Mbule.
Mbule has joined the list of players earmarked to be signed by Sundowns as they look to bolster their squad ahead of the 2020/21 season.
Divine Lunga and Grant Kekana are believed to be on their way to Chloorkop already, while The Brazilians have lost the battle to sign defender Njabulo Ngcobo, who is set to sign a three-year deal with Kaizer Chiefs.
Mbule has also been linked with a move to Amakhosi, but it appears the reigning DStv Premiership champions are making it their mission not to miss out on the 23-year-old.
According to sources close to the Tshwane giants, the deal between with SuperSport United could be concluded this week, with CEO Stan Matthews having earlier told this website that the two clubs are in negotiations over several transfer exchanges.
"There is huge interest from Sundowns. The deal could be finalised this week," says the source.
Other players linked to the negotiations between the two clubs include the likes of Kudakwashe Mahachi and Tebogo Langerman.
