The Brazilians suffered a shock 2-1 defeat to Polokwane City last night and Mosimane felt the pitch at the famous venue was a major contributing factor.
Mosimane hinted that he may speak to the club's management as he seeks a remedy.
"It doesn't help us, we're a passing team. You see how bad it is. It's a rugby pitch but Ellis Park is a rugby pitch also and is good," said Mosimane.
"It's alway frustrating at Loftus. It's our home game remember, so we can't blame anybody. We should look at ourselves first.
"But coming here is suicide, we can't move the ball, we're a free-flowing and free-passing team and this works against us."
The Brazilians have registered Lucas Moripe Stadium as an alternative venue to host their home games, but Mosimane says Loftus is more convenient for their supporters travelling from both Mamelodi and Atteridgeville.
"Unfortunately this is the perfect place for us. The stadium is good in terms of hospitality. It's good for our people from Mamelodi and Atteridgeville as you take only one taxi and it is convenient," he added.
