Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane has given advice to Black Leopards forward Mwape Musonda amid reports he has attracted interested from PSL clubs.
Musonda finished the season as the Absa Premiership Golden Boot winner with 16 goals scored and he is open to making a move. Mosimane, however, says the grass is not always greener on the side.
Musonda is said to have attracted interest from Kaizer Chiefs, SuperSport United and Bidvest Wits.
“He has done well and he has scored some important goals for the team. He helped the team to survive relegation. That guy had the team on his shoulders, it’s unbelievable. He is a good player, I hope he stays where he is. But I’m not the right one to say he must stay or go. He should, because Black Leopards needs him also,” Mosimane said.
“He knows that he has travelled a little bit to find a stable home. You know you can move from a club that you were good at and you are appreciated, you move somewhere and nothing happens. So be very careful of moving when you are loved and when people want to keep you.”
There’ll be lots of talk about Musonda in the coming weeks as clubs look to get him on board for the 2019/20.
