5. Njabulo Blom (Kaizer Chiefs):

He's been consistent and he creates goals for Chiefs. I have seen him actually win games for them through his assists. He's versatile that's another thing. He's effective in every position he plays.

4. Teboho Mokoena (SuperSport United):

One of the best midfielders to replace the likes of Hlompho Kekana. He's a new generation. He scores goals, he gives you something going forward. Another thing about him is he's been consistent, he doesn't have a lot of injuries. He got to play more games, which makes him consistent. Unlike (Sipho) Mbule who has been inconsistent. Mokoena is an asset to the national team and has been proving it season after season.

3. Denis Onyango (Mamelodi Sundowns):

What people don't realise with Onyango is that he basically wins titles for Sundowns. Remember defenders are not like strikers, strikers are scoring, so we recognise strikers for that. Onyango has saved Sundowns during one on ones where Sundowns should have lost the game you know.

2. Rushine de Reuck (Mamelodi Sundowns):

He is also a future asset for Bafana and Sundowns. So De Reuck and Onyango for the fact that they have kept a clean sheet until now, I mean Sundowns hasn't conceded a goal. Meaning that clearly there is something that the defence is doing right. They are top of the log, so we're not just sucking this out of our thumbs, we're talking stats and facts.

1. Peter Shalulile (Mamelodi Sundowns):

Shalulile is obvious you know. Shalulile is not just a top Sundowns player. For me, he is actually the PSL's top striker. It's not easy to keep scoring goals when you are playing for Sundowns and you are being watched by every team. I bet teams plan for Shalulile when they are playing Sundowns. He's consistent in scoring goals which is a difficult feat to master. At this point, Shalulile stands out.
