Kapinga: We won't make it easy for Pirates

Black Leopards star Lesedi Kapinga says they are not worried about the return of Orlando Pirates dangerman Gabadinho Mhango ahead of today's clash.

The Malawian striker is expected to be back in the Pirates line-up at 15h30 after missing the Nedbank Cup last 32 encounter against Bidvest Wits through suspension.

The Soweto giants visits Lidoda Duvha at Thohoyandou Stadium in what will be an intense battle for three points as the home side struggles for Absa Premiership survival.

"You see if you are going to talk about Gaba, I won't say he is not good, he is good, but if we are going to focus on that then we are getting our preparations wrong," Kapinga tells KickOff.com.

"Because they are also looking for someone that they can plan for. Pirates also have someone they are planning for who is playing for Leopards. We don't know who. We don't even want to know him.

"If Gaba is going to come, then we might as well find a way of stopping him because they also have someone that they feel is a threat at Leopards. They must also sit down and plan for him.

"We must focus on getting points. As you can see, our position is not good. We are not going to make the game easy for Pirates, never!

"We actually know that we are going to play one of the big teams in the PSL, or should I say country? But ja at the end of the day it's about us, we should focus on ourselves you see.

"If you check the log, you will definitely understand that we will need at least a point because we can't afford to lose a game at home. So at the moment right now me and my teammates we are going to make that happen on Sunday. We will throw everything we have at Pirates, and see how they react.

"So we must fight for a win. Pirates as well they can plan whatever they are planning, it's fine, it's part of the game. We are going to focus on what's best for us, not on what is best for Pirates."
