A much-coveted PSL star has shot down reports that he is one of the three players Mamelodi Sundowns have signed for next season.
Sundowns coach Pitso Mosmane revealed recently that the club has already secured three new players to strengthen their squad for next season, without revealing any names.
It was then reported in local media that Black Leopards forward Lesedi Kapinga is one of those players having been one of Lidoda Duvha's top performers this season and attracting interest from a host of Absa Premiership clubs.
But the former Tshakhuma Tsha Madzhivhandila player denies he has signed a pre-contract with the Tshwane giants as that would make his situation at Leopards a bit awkward.
"I really don't know anything about that," Kapinga tells KickOff.com.
"They haven't talked to me about anything those people [Sundowns]. I know nothing. I called my agent as well and he told me he knows nothing about that."
Leopards are well known to be unkind to players who sign pre-contracts elsewhere, as was evident in the case of ex-players Marks Munyai and Phathutshedzo Nange prior to their respective moves to Highlands Park and Bidvest Wits.
