Baberwa FC chairman Joe Seanego has addressed reports that troubled midfielder Lerato Chabangu has gone back to his old ways again.
The 33-year-old former Mamelodi Sundowns playmaker, who had fallen on hard times when he was recently given a lifeline by the ABC Motsepe League side, is said to have not reported for work since the club opened for pre-season.
Seanego says 'All You Need Is Love' was given permission by the club to stay away from work.
"Lerato will be back here in the team. He asked for special leave, he was still sorting some other problems out," Seanego tells KickOff.com.
"But he will be here at the training. It was a family problem but he did speak to me and he asked me [for me permission]. He is not AWOL. You can come to the club, you will see Lerato training."
Seanego also confirmed that the club was currently assessing former PSL stars Clifford Mulenga and Tsietsi Mahoa.
"Clifford Mulenga and Tsietsi Mahoa are the only ones who are in now," he adds.
