Seema: It's the story of our season

Black Leopards co-caretaker coach Lehlohonolo Seema says conceding soft goals has been a story of their season after a 3-0 loss to Orlando Pirates.

Lidoda Duvha had some hope after a goalless first stanza, with the Buccaneers missing a lot of chances, however a brace by Tshegofatso Mabasa in ths second stanza and a late goal by Gabadinho Mhango gave the Soweto giants a comfortable win in the end.

"It's one of those games I told you before the match that if we can do what we've agreed on, that is working hard, because we knew that it's not gonna be easy," Seema told SuperSport TV.

"Especially like we said we're quite aware that the result they had, the previous result they gonna come with guns blazing.

"When we saw that line-up we even emphasised that they'll be a lot of energy because they have a lot of players that are a little bit fresh and the games we've been playing now, 95 percent of players we've been playing with them [the whole season], it's the same team," he said.

"Them they will be fresh, I could see they were sharper, quick on the movement, however, I think first-half we were prepared to work, dig in, second-half you could see that we went off the boil a bit.

"I think the story of our season, we have been conceding soft goals, the first goal you could see the man in the box far post alone, then a cross from Jooste, of course Mabasa will always be in the box for those crosses.

"And the second goal, touch of an offside, I still want to see it but I'm not sure about it, the third goal there we lost the ball from the goalkeeper, he tries to start, we lose the ball and there's not enough energy chasing back.

"If you let them have a go like that, as quick as they are gonna have a problem. However, we're not throwing [in] the towel, we'll still fight, as long as the games are there to be played, we're still gonna play.

"We're having another big one against Chippa United and if we have to get a closure that is the game we have to try win away and we'll see, up until the last game."
