Mutizwa: Arrows have learnt lessons

Premiership

Golden Arrows striker Knox Mutizwa is eagerly awaiting the return of football ahead of Saturday's clash with Stellenbosch FC at Ellis Park.

Steve Komphela's charges have been out of action since March when they registered a goalless draw against Soweto giants Orlando Pirates in the Absa Premiership.

When Arrows met Stellies earlier in the campaign they let a two-goal lead slip at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium, but the Zimbabwean insists his side have learnt from their mistakes.

"In the first round we were leading and they came back in the second half and equalised," Mutizwa recalled during a media conference. "We've learnt our lesson and we want to rectify that."

Abafana Bes'thende currently occupy eighth spot heading into the business end of the campaign, and Mutizwa is hoping to avoid the disappointment of last season when they failed to finish in the top half.

"We are looking forward to the game and playing again after months without football," he added. "We are hoping to do well for the club and end the season very well."
