Ndlovu: We no longer fear Chiefs

Premiership

Black Leopards goalkeeper King Ndlovu says teams are no longer scared of playing Kaizer Chiefs these days as they prepare to visit FNB Stadium.

Ndlovu says the Soweto giants no longer have the same pedigree as before and insists they will be going for all three points tomorrow evening.

Amakhosi will host the Limpopo outfit in a DStv Premiership encounter on Wednesday on the back of their CAF Champions League assignments against PWD Bamenda.

But with their current form not as convincing, as well as a five-year trophy drought hanging over their heads, the Lidoda Duvha shotstopper claims they are no longer the force people once knew them as.

“Ja, we are confident of doing a good job. You know with Kaizer Chiefs now they are not the same Kaizer Chiefs they were before like with the playing style and everything,” Ndlovu tells KickOff.com.

"You know with the old Kaizer Chiefs, we would go to FNB and just wish for a draw. But nowadays we are going for three points.

"I'm not saying we are gonna win but we are going for all three points. We are not going there to look for a draw or to park the bus. We will play with no fear.

"They didn't concede in their last two games but on the other hand they are also struggling to score goals."

Ndlovu also explained Leopards' bad start this season.

"We didn't start well because of the complications in the team, players going in players going out you understand? But we've had time to prepare and work as a team. I don't think we are relegation material this season. We are going to surprise a lot of teams this season," he added.
