Thidiela's message to Pirates, Downs

Premiership

Black Leopards boss David Thidiela has put a 'not-for-sale' sign on defender Khuliso Mudau, who is on the wanted-list of two Gauteng teams.

Mudau is reported to have caught the interest of both Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates following his performances this past season.

The 25-year-old was one of the standout performers for Lidoda Duvha as they survived relegation via the PSL playoffs in the last month.

Despite huge interest in Mudau from Gauteng, Thidiela tells KickOff.com he is not ready to part ways with his most prized asset at a cheaper price.

"I don't know anything," Thidiela says in reference to potential suitors for the player. "If anyone is interested, they know what to do."

Thidiela says the Limpopo club is already preparing for life without prolific 29-year-old striker Mwape Musonda, who scored nine goals in the league and another three in the playoffs.

"He has done very well for us and it's time to let him go overseas now," the Leopards boss adds.

After retaining their top-flight status, Lidoda Duvha are currently searching for a new coach to guide the team in the 2020/21 DStv Premiership season.
