Baroka FC have brought in the services of former coach Kgoloko Thobejane once again.
Thobejane, who coined the widely-used phrase "football can kill you", was sacked by the club in 2018 after he allegedly drank on duty.
He is the famous coach who promoted Bakgaga to the top-flight in 2016, and he will now be in charge of the club's Diski Challenge team.
Club chairman Khurushi Mphahlele says the coach's good record in developing top players was the reason he has been allowed back into the club.
"He will start with the MDC, our development is lacking," Mphahlele reveals to KickOff.com.
"Ya we are not good at development. Thabiso Kutumela, Gift Motupa, Victor Letsoalo, Lantshane Phalane, Veli Mothwa, those are the players which were produced by Kgoloko Thobejane."
Mphahlele says both parties saw fit to focus on the future and not talk about the past.
"[Laughs] No we didn't talk about that one, we are talking about a new page, we wanted a new page. We don't want to discuss that. That's the past, let the past be the past. We've given him a one-year season with an option to renew."
Passion FC owner Brandon Tshabangu adds: "The chairman of Baroka FC requested us to release him back to the club to help with development. There are no issues. He left the club with our blessings."
