Kaizer Chiefs may have had a promising start to the 2019/20 Absa Premiership season as they occupy top spot on the log, but there are areas in which they can still improve.
Chiefs suffered their first defeat of the season as they fell to Polokwane City by a solitary goal at FNB Stadium last weekend but remained at the summit of the table by virtue of their higher number of goals scored thus far.
Ernst Middendorp seems have rejuvenated his side through emphasising the need for aggression in their play, while several new combinations seem to be working with players having returned from injury as well as recent signings coming to the fore.
However, not all areas of their play have been as enterprising and KickOff.com has identified where Amakhosi can improve, and Middendorp has repeatedly admitted this in recent interviews.
"We are on the way, and we are aware about the many challenges in front of us, and challenges we have to face internally - to look into details what can be done better and more; where do we have to put a little bit more indvidual attantioned into it," he said.
The gallery above reveals some interesting statistics that provide a picture of what these areas are.
