Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that striker Keletso Sifama has been sent out on a loan deal to another PSL club for the remainder of the season.
Sifama has been included in a Deadline Day deal that will see him reunite with former Chiefs coach Ernst Middendorp, who handed him his PSL debut last season.
The 17-year-old attacker will turn out for Maritzburg United until the end of the 2020/21 season, Amakhosi have confirmed in a statement.
"Striker Keletso Sifama has moved to Maritzburg United on loan until the end of the 2020/21 season. We wish the youngster all of the best during his spell at United," read the update.
Having been promoted by Middendorp in August last year before going on to make his full professional debut against Mamelodi Sundowns, Sifama will now get another chance to work under the German tactician.
This season, he has only managed three appearances under Gavin Hunt, who took over the reigns in Naturena at the start of the current campaign.
The Team of Choice are in desperate need of results as they battle the dreaded relegation axe, with only 15 games to move themselves up from 15th position on the DStv Premiership standings.
