Kekana: Sundowns to live up to standards


New signing Grant Kekana says Mamelodi Sundowns aim to live up to their high standards set as the defending DStv Premiership champions.

Sundowns look set to maintain their 100% record when they host TS Galaxy at Loftus Versfeld Stadium on Sunday.

"I think we did quite well against Kaizer Chiefs," Kekana said.

"Obviously we were not happy with the amount of chances we gave them and the number of chances we didn't take.

"We look forward to converting more chances created."

The newly-signed defender, who found the back of the net in a 2-0 win over Kaizer Chiefs says Sundowns have greater targets they aim to reach.

"We have set targets for ourselves as a team and each and every player at Sundowns," Kekana added.

"So it’s very crucial and important we live up to those standards we set ourselves.

"So we go into every game to try and better ourselves and that won't be any different with regards to the Galaxy game.
