The national Under-23 winger, who scored just once on loan at Ajax Cape Town last season, netted in either half as the Brazilians eased past Ezenkosi, who are yet to win a game.
Speaking after the game, Dolly said: “It’s [goals] been coming. I haven’t been scoring for my team, but I’m happy I got them today and let’s hope I keep on scoring.”
Sundowns’ fans were much happier after this match – unlike in midweek when they were calling for Pitso Mosimane to resign. But Dolly insists the tension has not got to the players.
“We haven’t been doing well in the League, but we never gave up. We kept on fighting and it’s paid off,” he says.
“It [fans calling for Pitso’s head] doesn’t have much impact on us because we focus on our goal and we’re working towards it, so we’ll keep on pushing.
“We thank the supporters that came out today and for not giving up on us.”
