Buchanan's plea to big boss Kadodia

Maritzburg United midfielder Keagan Buchanan is hoping he will not lose any of his in-demand teammates to bigger clubs in the off-season.

The Team of Choice is one of those PSL clubs that specialise in selling their top players most seasons to stay in business, and more of that is expected.

Some of their top players ike Richard Ofori and Rushine de Rueck have been heavily linked with moves to the likes of Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.

Those two have been key figures in Eric Tinkler's team and Buchanan believes the club would achieve more if they were to keep the same team for longer.

"Look, continuity is important in any team or business, it brings you good results," Buchanan said via video conference.

"We've got a good bond, from technical team to players. Obviously if we can keep the players and same squad together, we will have a better chance next season."

However, the United midfielder said as much as it is important to keep the same squad together, he would not go as far as saying they could eventually win the league.

"I can't say we could win the league because only the coach would know what we need to win the league based on experience," he added.

"But it would be nice to keep the team together. We can do better than this season, depending on how we finish."
