Former Orlando Pirates striker Katlego Mashego has made a decision on his playing career.
'Mahoota' has decided to hang up his soccer boots to focus on his studies and business opportunities.
The striker last played for Chippa United two seasons ago but took a break from football to concentrate on his academics.
He has now joined the likes of Tlou Molekwane and Brilliant Khuzwayo, who have both retired from the beautiful game recently.
Mashego says he will release an official statement about his retirement soon.
"I am not going to play football again but I will make an official statement very soon," Mashego tells KickOff.com.
The 37-year-old, who also played for Mamelodi Sundowns, Moroka Swallows, Golden Arrows and SuperSport United, achieved 22 caps for Bafana Bafana and scored two goals.
