Chiefs bosses rope in extra numbers


Kaizer Chiefs have recalled three players from their loan spell at Swallows FC.

Development products Sizwe Twala, Itumeleng Shopane and Ayanda Rorwana were on loan to Swallows from Amakhosi together with star midfielder Given Thibedi.

Chiefs extended their loan deals at Swallows at the start of the 2020/21 season but three players have now been roped back into Gavin Hunt's squad at The Village.

Thibedi has remained on loan with the Dube Birds until the end of the season.

Swallows boss David Mogashoa has confirmed that Twala, Shopane and Rorwana have returned to Naturena.

"Yes it's true, the players Ayanda Rorwana, Sizwe Twala and Itumeleng Shopane have gone back to Chiefs," Mogashoa informs

"Given Thidedi is still with us until the end of the season."

Swallows are on the verge of signing Vitoria Setubal winger Kgaogelo Sekgota, who was on loan at Bidvest Wits in the second half of last season.
