Chiefs ready to offer Swallows 3 players

Premiership has learnt that Kaizer Chiefs are ready to offer Swallows FC three players plus cash to sweeten the deal for one of their star players.

Amakhosi are already working hard behind the scenes in a bid to turn the club's fortunes around next season, following what has been a largely underwhelming domestic campaign thus far.

Several changes are expected to be made to their playing personnel, with several reports suggesting a major squad overhaul is on the cards at the end of the season.

Chiefs are understood to have SuperSport United midfielder Sipho Mbule and Swallows defender Njabulo Ngcobo at the top of their wanted list when their transfer ban officially ends on June 30.

According to sources close to the Glamour Boys, Dumisani Zuma and Philani Zulu could be headed to the Dube Birds, with Given Thibedi set to make his loan move permanent, as part of their bid to land Ngcobo.

"There is a good relationship between Chiefs and Swallows. The negotiations between the two clubs over Ngcobo are going well,” revealed a source.

As earlier reported by this website, another star set to swap Dobsonville for Naturena is Bafana Bafana striker Ruzaigh Gamildien, who is currently second on the DStv Premiership top scoring charts for the 2020/21 campaign.
