The proof of the appalling state of Kaizer Chiefs' league campaign has been laid bare by the evidence showing that all the other PSL 15 clubs have taken points off the faded PSL giants.
Chiefs have been so vulnerable this term that they have now dropped to the lows of suffering defeat against 10 clubs and have not taken all six points from any opponent this term.
Following the loss to Black Leopards on Wednesday, AmaKhosi have now lost to four of the five teams below them on the standings this season.
The bottom two Leopards and Chippa United have won against Chiefs this season just like TTM and Maritzburg United proving just how much of a jumble sale for points Chiefs have been this season.
The rest of the teams that have recorded wins and taken at least three points from Chiefs has Cape Town City, AmaZulu, Orlando Pirates, SuperSport United, Swallows and Mamelodi Sundowns.
Stellenbosch, Bloemfontein Celtic and Baroka played draws in their home and away games against Chiefs meaning they all took at least two points from Chiefs this term.
Golden Arrows and TS Galaxy have also already taken points from Gavin Hunt’s team after playing draws.
The two – Arrows and Galaxy – will be Chiefs’ opponents in the two remaining games.
Never in PSL history have all clubs in the league taken points from Chiefs – whose pride has been left dented through a campaign in which their biggest rivals Pirates and Sundowns have finished with trophies.
Strangely, for all of Chiefs’ troubles, no team has been able to complete a double over them.
Chiefs have won just six games this season and are now way down in eleventh position needing a concoction of favourable results to finish in position eight.
Another loss this season will set Chiefs to the most number of defeats in a single season through the PSL era.
